Filip Đuričić (born 30 January 1992) is a Serbian footballer who currently plays for Eredivisie team SC Heerenveen and the Serbian national youth sides.
Career
Đuričić comes from the Red Star Belgrade youth program, in 2007 he spent a year in Greece with champion Olympiacos F.C.[1]
On 13 March 2009 SC Heerenveen signed Serbian central midfielder from Red Star Belgrade. The youngster will join the Dutch side in January 2010.[2] He made his debut on 20 February against RKC Waalwijk and made an assist in this first match.[3]
Filip had a trial with Manchester United during January 2009 and looked set to join them after a year long loan back to then-current club Radnicki once he had turned 18. However, the English club decided not to take up the option to sign him despite their European Scout Budimir Vujačić recommending him. This particular situation is very similar to that of the once potential deal between Manchester United and Partizan Belgrade for Adem Ljajic who now plays for Italian Serie A side Fiorentina. In both cases, it is rumoured that Manchester United couldn't obtain a work permit.
